Hi,
I'm thinking of picking up a Samson Airline Wireless headset, would any recommend this for small theaters, conference rooms and restaurants... ranging from 50 - 200 people? Any difference between the N1,N2,N3,N4,N5 obviously but was? Additionally was looking a the Samson Stage 266 Duel Wireless http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio......s-system ... would if possible to use all 3 simultaneously for the spectators? Would this integrate smoothly? Thanks for the help, I'm useless technically! Cheers

Kannon I have used the Countryman e6 for years and it is great. Last Xmas I got a gift of the Samson Airline and used it just recently and it work flawlessly. Mike

I have 2 older models with the really small cigarette pack aize receiver and one antenna. Never had a problem with them and my speakers are behind me on my stage. I like that there is no cord going down your back and no transmitter on your belt.
You can use more than one wireless mic at a time as long as they are on different channels and each have a different receiver. I hope that helps. Jef

I have used the older model that Jef mentioned and also have the new headset model. They work great and the cord never shorts out because there is no cord!

N1, N2, N3, etc. are the different channels available. The set you buy is already pre-set to a certain channel (both the headset and the receiver pack have a label on them with the channel info).
I suppose a person could buy a second set on a different channel, just in case you run into interference. I bought the Samson Airline Micro back in early February, to go with my new Mackie SRM-150 PA system, which I bought in January. One thing I learned about them, is that part of the earset no longer pivots open and closed (to make getting it on your ear somewhat easier). The loop is somewhat flexible, but no longer has a hinge in it. I confirmed that this was true by contacting Samson. - Donald

I've never owned an Airline but I have sold several and everyone has liked them.

I'm attaching the receiver to the top of the Mackie PA with some velcro. It's a great little wireless mic because it doesn't need a power outlet (you charge the headset and the receiver at home, and the charge lasts about 6 hours or more... it can be charged via outlet or USB). So, you only need power for the PA system at the venue. - Donald

Donald
Thanks for posting the pictures. Trying to get some ideas on a set up due to me just adding music and sound to my show. Thanks again Mark |

Thanks for the additional thoughts, I went for the Sennheiser presentation lavier mic in the end ... but will definitely look into picking up the Samson Airline Wireless in the near future.
Missed out on your photo Donald will PM you. Cheers
