This PDF is designed for magicians who know at least a little about coin magic (i.e. basic moves such as palming) and who would like to enjoy performing impromptu coin magic or more extensive routines.
The material is taken from the performance material of seven Toronto area magicians. It is thus practical and entertaining -- building interest as it is presented. The book begins with a series of Cool Moves which are fairly simple to perform and can be used on their own in impromptu situations. Longer sustained effects draw on these moves and extend them into Performance Pieces. If you have ever been tempted to work with coins (or have given up previous attempts to use them), check out this worthwhile presentation of styles and effects. It can be found at http://www.lybrary.com/goldfinger-stand-......846.html John McLachlan |

Coin magic you can perform -- impromptu effects as well as performance pieces.
"Magicians and their audiences are often fascinated by magic performed with coins. Coins represent wealth, the treasure of a nation and the hope for a good life. There is thus something intrinsically engaging and attractive about producing, changing and entertaining with objects which are easily carried and valued by all." Does the book contain photos or illustrations to aid learning. Didn't 't see any mention of that.

Thanks for your comments Chris. There is a range of difficulty from very easy to fairly difficult but, in general, most of the material is relatively easy. There are seven contributors to the book which gives a variety of styles of coin work and routines.
