Not the standard. that's a fine point. (If we are being technical. The only difference is how thin the point is.)
But yeah. That's a sharpie. |

Sharpie pens... http://blog.sharpie.com/wp-content/uploa......x216.jpg EVEN MORE sharpies http://itsacolorfullife.files.wordpress.......rpie.jpg Though I should clarify. There is no.. 'standard' sharpie to my knowledge. The most common would be the fine point. But no one will question ANY of them. Would you mind saying what this is for? |

2nd one from the top is the most common Sharpie. If you want to hide one of these Sharpies with some class, consider: http://www.sherpapen.com/Sherpa-Back-in-......5087.htm

And just like magic manufacturers, there are lots of Sharpie knockoffs out there.
You may find Shankie, Skerple, Sharpei, and others! (Any of them work fine for signing cards.) |

The ultra-fine has a very tiny thin tip and looks nothing like that photo. See the photos above and you'll see that all normal sharpie's have a fine point.

Fine point is the standard. I found this one on amazon and it's now my standard.

Hej David,
I'm not sure it's important to the spectator what type of Sharpie you're using, but would agree the fine point is most common. We even use that type at work. You can get them in other colors as well. You may want to visit an office supply/art store before buying and try them out.
