Happy New Year everyone! For the last several months I’ve been working on a new project that I’m very proud of. I’ve assembled a select group of magic dealers and creators for a series of one day retail magic expos. The event is called The Real Magic Roadshow and we'd love to have you join us! You’ll have a chance to see and buy magic from some of the industries leading dealers including Mark Mason of JB Magic, Chris Smith of Magic Smith, Dirk Losander, and of course - Elmwood Magic. Each of our first six cities will also feature at least one local dealer and registration is open now.
Here’s the best part - if you pre-register now, we pay YOU to attend! Here's how it works... The cost to attend the Real Magic Roadshow is only $10. But if you pre-register NOW we’ll issue you a $20 Gift Card for use the day of the event! Spend an hour or spend the day, either way you risk nothing and you’re guaranteed a great time too. But act fast - registration for each city is limited and, with this great deal, space will fill up fast. Visit The Real Magic Roadshow website for full details on locations and registration. http://www.realmagicroadshow.com Spread the word, The Real Magic Roadshow is heading your way! |

Sounds like it would be a fun day. Closest to me is in my birthplace of Pittsburgh. You just may see me there.

Thanks for your interest guys! I'm very pleased to say that the response thus far has been very positive. I've tried to make this a real win/win for everyone involved and the only mystery card is - well - YOU! The only way for this to work is for us to have healthy attendence in our first six cities. If you're interested, please check out the web site at http://www.realmagicroadshow.com
The sooner people sign up the sooner we know that there is enough interest to take this to other cities as well! We'd love to see you there and we certainly appreciate folks passing on the information to others as well. Thanks again and feel free to ask questions if you have them. |

Hey Paul,
Lot of magicians around Myrtle Beach. I see you are doing Raleigh in early May, maybe fit in Myrtle Beach sometime before your Chicago jump? Call us at 843.626.8191 and we'll see what we can do. Thanks for heads up Mike, hope you’re doing well! Our schedule is solid for the first six stops but I will definitely keep it in mind for future dates.
We’ve just added another dealer for the Detroit Area and the location details for Chicago are up now as well. The Chicago date should also have another dealer being announced soon – just waiting for the confirmation. I will continue to update details at http://www.realmagicroadshow.com |

This was an amazing experience here in Detroit. Even though we were competing with a bad snowstorm in the morning and Abbott's Close-up Convention across the state, the room was packed.
I received a frantic phone call from my demonstrator in the early afternoon that we were running out of supplies fast and to bring more stuff. There were demonstrations, performances, explanations, advice, and new products from the developers themselves. Nothing beats the experience of live magic, and this was some of the best. Thanks to Paul Richards, Chris Smith, and Dirk Losander for making this a success. Special thanks to Paul and his beautiful wife for organizing and creating an event that promotes and supports us local magic shops. Too many local magic shops are disappearing. (I just bought out another one a week ago.) It's great that a dealer show can promote local interest rather than only selling on the internet or through the mega stores. I hope more developers get it.

We are definitely looking forward to seeing you in Raleigh, Paul! The news is posted on our Ring website and monthly newsletter and our statewide T.V.P./N.C. newsletter and website. Jon Ferrante at The Magic Corner has the event prominently displayed. Our Magic Youth club will be attending as a group.
Sadly, even though I pre-registered, I have since booked an all day festival appearance and will MISS out on the fun. (Sigh) The pangs of business interfering with pleasure, what? Happily, one of our young magicians will benefit with my ticket. Winning! This should be a great event for all concerned. Thank you for choosing Raleigh as one of your stops!

Thanks for the help promoting the event, Skip! Sorry you won’t be able to make it. We’re all looking forward to Raleigh as well...
You may want to remind the youth club (and others as well) to get their pre-registrations in soon. Pre-registration for the Raleigh date closes on April 29th and I don’t want folks to miss out on the gift card and dvd promotion. |

I attended the pittsburgh show and it was a blast!!! The two notable lectures were Losander and Mark Mason. Losander executed the most beautiful table levitation I have ever seen. Mark Mason was a hoot! I never knew the man would be so funny, especially his old McDonald joke. $10 registration fee and then get $20 in spending cash it was a blast.

Hey folks, I was in Boston and highly recommend attending if the Roadshow is coming to a city near you. Paul, Mark Mason, Chris Smith, and Losander all have incredible effects. But you probably already know that. If you're considering purchasing from one of these dealers (SSSHHHHHH) they do have some "show specials" to make your attendance worthwhile. Plus $20 back if you pre-register. Can't go wrong.
