What really ****es me off is the prizes in Cracker Jack boxes are really dumb compared to the ones I got as a kid.
There are places all over the US that have this same claim of "spook hill" - all attributed to an optical illusion.

Myth Busters or a similar program did an entire episode demonstration that no physical laws were violated at Spook Hill or many of the other so-called vortexes and "mystery spots" that are popular tourist traps all over this country.

These vortexes (vortices?)are real. You walk near one with a full wallet and walk away with it emptied. It's amazing.

They call 'em gravity hills around here. Nothing supernatural, except its a good reason for high school girls to get into high school boys' cars.

I love visiting those places, though. They are a lot of fun. Kind of like the bit Penn and Teller did year ago on Saturday Night Live where you didn't realize until the end of the bit that the whole thing was being shot upside down.

Nah- I think you just had two different sentences in mind.
"The supernatural is a force not to be reckoned with." And- "The supernatural is a force not to be taken lightly." So you blended them together. I knew what you meant. And I agree! |
