Roll Tide!!!!!!

All I can say is one should not have to wait 6 weeks to play a game had this game been played the following week after the season then it would of been much more competitive.
not syaing ND would of won this is just my opinion |

As much as I'm glad to see a play off coming, we'll only be subject to more and more all SEC championships.
Frankly I'd like to see a 6 or 8 team playoff with the top 2 seeds getting a bye round. LSU got absolutely hosed last year after having gone undefeated including beating Alabama in Tuscaloosa, they were told, "not good enough. you have to beat them twice." This year, Oregon got hosed because they lost on an OT field goal but because the SEC is virtually guaranteed a spot in the championship, they got bumped. The playing field isn't level. In the current format pretty much the only way to knock the SEC out of the championship is to have two undefeated non-SEC teams. While the standard for the SEC is pretty much a 1-loss team can go. So they tell Oregon, "oh sorry, you have one loss, you can't go." But they tell Alabama, "You have one loss, that's okay." I also agree that a 5 or 6 week break between the end of the season and the championship game is silly. That's just me. There's probably fair arguments both ways. |

Boise State has been ignored for a few years now. They had great teams but didn't get a BSC bid. Where I live, UNLV will never be considered even if they happen to get a good football program. The only reason they won a National Title in basketball was because of March Madness.

They faced challenges only from LSU and A&M. Other 1 loss teams had far more challenging schedules. But they're Bama so they get it handed to them. |
