This is a beautiful routine. Everything flowed nicely together. I would not add to this at all. Thanks for sharing.

I have nothing to add to this except to say that it's a great routine.
I love visual type of magic...

I really like this little routine and the way its structured.
However, I'd definitely skript it and start with just the lighter, show both hands otherwise empty, produce the coin from the flame and then proceed as constructed. Congratulations, Vayron! cp
To see a difficult thing lightly handled gives the impression of the impossible.

Hi Mb, yes I know those big lighters. A friend of mine (Clement Kerstenne) use them a lot. But their flashy colors don't fit my style. If I had to use one I would maybe produce a big lighter and a jumbo coin to be coherent.
And the "script" is really not easy. Although I love performing magic with music but the routine was structured to be done in table hopping situations and so I prefer not to use any music background. |

Very nice. I have been working on a coin/lighter routine as well, and I like the ideas for this. Keep it up!

Yeah, I don't believe it needs any patter, it'd disturb the flow. I also don't think it needs them both to disappear at the end either. I like how you end how you started, you can then go on to light someone's cigarette and leave their table.
Keep up the good work! |

My opinion....... Change nothing. Great opener and don't think you necessarily need a script. Just done silently is ok. In fact in some venues it is better as it is visual and if you can't be heard it still is perfect.

I would try and produce a jumbo coin at the end AND the misdirection of the jumbo finale would als give you time to produce a jumbo LIGHTER.
It wouldn't be as practical with pocket space .etc. but it is a very good routine as it is. |

Looks cool! what would you do after? would you change the coin into something else? perhaps sneak a shell onto the coin and to that route? flash paper is cool as it has high audience appeal and can be surprising. sky is the limit with manipulation. good job!

Thanks to all. I've now a few idea's in mind. I'll try to stay away from the jumbo coin. I can either :
Just stop the routine. Produce a huge lighter with maybe a jumbo coin. I like the idea but can be difficult as far as pocket management is concerned. Produce a object which has nothing to do with the routine. Best example : change the coin into a mobile phone. Great idea and perfect for impromptu situations. Transform the coin into a banknote/bill. Transform the coin into a object which is used in my next trick. Example : a deck of card. |

I like the completely unrelated/prop for next trick direction very much!

I like this a lot as is. Quick, visual magic with the coin coming full circle from gone to back. Very nice.
