Does anyone know if there are routines published in where a copper coin transposes with three silver coins from one hand to the other?
I'm working on this routine where I make a copper coin change places with three silver coins while holding them in my closed fists. I have this idea since this week. It need some work but I end clean and the coin can be examined. I'm looking for references. If anyone can help me out? I appreciate it.

I have an idea to do that in a single event, I use it as a finish for a routine in Tamariz "Monedas, monedas y monedas", the method I use accomplishes the same thing than the Bertram steal, but I thing is a little more clear, since I don't like Bertram's one.
I hope you understand, my dear friend, that everything you are seeing is a lie, but everything you are feeling holds true.

How is this different from the work using two coppers and a silver or the copper/silver/brass trick?

Found anything missing and if so what more would you like? Hint: yes using one extra and a utility switch after the magic has been explored. Using the thumbslide to get rid of that extra for a second phase also works nicely. Feel free to PM for details if needed.

The routine I'm working on works. It just needs a lot of practice to make it look good. I'm just curious if there are similar effects in print or on DVD.
The effect I'm trying to accomplish is as follows: The magigian shows three silver coins and one copper coin. He puts the three silver coins in his left hand and the copper coin in his right hand. He makes fists and by a magical gesture the coins change places al at ones. The methode doesn't have to resemble the methode I'm using. I,m curious about different ideas to accomplish the effect.

Wouter: David Neighbors did a routine where three silver coins and three copper coins switched places. Some of his ideas may work for you. It was in Magical Arts Journal and on his Coinjurer Video (I think). I believe it was called the Trilogy Coin Act. His was in phases but the gaff may be of help to you.

I believe Geoff Latta has a coins across with three silver and one copper, and the coins transpose at the end. It is in the nycms dvd series, I think in the bonus section of volume 1
S.E.M. (The Sun, the Moon, and the Earth) is a sun and moon routine unlike any other. Limited to 100 sets, here is the promo:

Thanks Ramin,
Yea it's in my Japan Notes! and as has been said it's a 3 and 3 transposition! But it could be changed to a 3 and 1 transposition vary easy! I would have to look at some old notes but I think I had Coins trou the table, And a coin box routine where this happened! And I have 3 ungaffed S-C.transpositions In the Hands That could be changed to that vary easy! But I think A one at a time transposition of 3 and 1 would be more interesting! |
