Alrighty everyone!
Here is a very brief review just to give a few of my thoughts. Before I start I want to say that I purchased this from another member and when I received it, the stitching was coming undone in a few places. I emailed Paul and he quickly replied back saying that usually since it was purchased second hand any problems would be out of his hands, however, since this is a rare case and that he stands behind this wallet, he agreed to replace the wallet as long as I paid shipping to and from. So first things first, Paul is exceptional and really stands behind this. His service is wonderful. I should also say that before I bought the wallet I emailed him numerous times with questions and he was very helpful and honest from the beginning. The new wallet is actually being shipped to me as we speak but I can give you my thoughts on the wallet since I truly believe that the stitching issue on mine was a 1 in a million case. The dvd covers what you need to know, nothing out of this world as far as routines go but it gets your mind thinking. Do not expect anything along the line as the dvd's that came with the SAW, but Paul goes into the various workings of the wallet and provides a great starting point. Enough about the dvd, lets go to the wallet. As soon as I opened up the package, the smell hit me. A great, quality leather smell. It was a nice surprise. The fine grain leather paul used is probably the softest leather I have ever seen on a magic wallet. It feels broken in fro the start and it is SUPPLE! Really great quality. The various uses of the wallet have been described already, so I will not go into too much detail. The SUC can be used as a second peak, but it would cause the movement to be awkward I would feel, so plan on using it mainly for loading. The really nice thing about the way the wallet is set up is the way that Paul used a short card type principle to distinguish the different bill pockets, making accessing the main peak way easier than I expected and makes it second nature without fumbling. Speaking of the main peak, I love it. It really is deceptive. There is no way that the spectator will ever assume you are peaking anything. However, I did not like how paul gets the peak by closing the wallet and found it to be slightly awkward. The best way I found when playing with it was to use the "make a bet" gag and pull out a bill and at that moment get the peak. It is deceptive because of the way the peak is constructed. You get around half the business card and I assume that will increase to 75% as the leather stretches in that area. Like I said, it is truly deceptive and really love the peak. Everything else is positioned perfectly. The index, the ard index, etc. So how does this compare to the SAW in terms of the wallet themselves (excluding the dvd's). The SAW is much thinner and smaller. For me, this is the perfect size. When I loaded up Paul's wallet with a few bills, the index and my cards, the wallet was way too thick for my taste. I say for my taste because I simply do not like a bulgy wallet. Never have. I have never used a regular bifold wallet, only every an iphone wallet case and my SAW which is thinner, so to most of you, the thickness may not be an issue. For me, though, it is the breaking point of Paul's wallet. The reason, though, that it is a little thicker than the saw is that the leather is a much better quality. In short here is what I will say. Paul's wallet is truly a gem. If you want a bifold mentalism wallet with the best peak ive ever seen, go for it, you won't be sorry. Just know you probably won't be putting into your front trouser pocket. I will stick with my saw, mainly because it is thinner and smaller in general and the fact that I am ust used to it. This should not deter you from buying Paul's. Someone pmed me asking to compare it to the showdown wallet by outlaw. Lets put it this way, I got the showdown a while back and sold it the same day. Paul's is a much better option in my opinion. If you want a bifold, the Annihilation is the way to go. |

Update: So I received the replacement and it is in perfect condition. Everything looks good. Again, probably the best customer service experience I have experienced in a while. I will go as far to say as this is the best BiFold wallet for mentalism ever made. I am not a Bifold guy so mine is for sale, but if you are, I fully recommend it. Also, pick up paul's dreamweaver card, it is great!

Thanks for taking the time to post your thoughts Eli!
As to the "full peek", the peek is area is about three quarters of the card, when the. In the trailer you'll see a point where I display two drawings, with initials on the top of the cards...it is this initialed area that can not be seen, the rest of the card is visible during the peek. I hope that helps! Thanks again! |

Does the SUC feature load to the zippered compartment? I'm torn between this wallet and the Infinity wallet.

So a friend of mine has one and I got to play with it for a minute or so. Here are my thoughts:
The quality of the leather is similar to the Jol, just not as shiny and not as smooth, it's a little granier. It's just as HQ. It's quite thick but it has many features to compensate! The peek is clever! It kind of uses something from the Pac Stack (or the Viper peek wallet) and a Cloack and Dagger peek. It's very deceptive. The main use of the peek is for drawings but you could easily do words, doing a peek similar to the one in the Espionage. There are a lot of "flaps" in the bill compartment that house the different indexes and the card goes in a very weird location, but that's the only way to design it. Some may even prefer it, I think it's quite good, haven't tested it out. So from what I saw this appears to be the best hip pocket wallet out there! If I manage to get my hands on one, will post a much more detailed review, but for now, I very highly recommend it! Paul seems to have made a thing of beauty! |

Sorry I'm late to party but I'm thinking about trading in my current wallet for a new one. For the loading compartment can it fit a playing card?

A little review; if someone is interested in getting one.
The anihillation wallet has been my everyday carry for some months. Is very bulky, but that was my style when I bought it. The leather is superb, grat quality, I sold it, but it was still in great shape for some more years of use. I've never used the card index, ther I had the coins and classified different stuff. The other index was great, I've used it some times, but some papers were difficult to grab, so I stopped using it. The main peek was the best thing in this wallet; same as PaC Stack, viper and (I guess) Alias wallet. But desguised in a very cool way, and you culd use the wallet as an ACIDUS device. So you could read words sight unseen and with the wallet closed as you handed the wallet. About the SUC... I've never used it, I don't like the suc in horizontal wallets like this, but maybe someone finds it useful for loading (not peeking) Many space for credit cards and pocket effects. But... bulky; now I wouldn't use it, but I know that this kind of syle has its market, so, if you like this style, get it. I have eaten free in a bar thanks of this wallet (yes, I could have used a CT, but... that day was the annihillation wich feed me hahahaha) |
