"Professional Ventriloquist Gangster Dummy"
Currently on eBay a seller is offering a Selberg Gangster figure for sale. This sale seem suspicious to me for several reasons, notably ... 1) The seller is new and has only one feedback comment. 2) The photo is a stock photo rather than an actual picture of the figure owned by the seller. 3) The description is sketchy, incomplete, and inaccurate. If any of you are bidding on this, you should first insist on getting photos of the figure. Fonsy http://fonsy.weebly.com/ # |

Interesting. If you were selling a Selberg, that is something that you would play up big. That ad never mentions his name.

I would ask the seller if they have any actual photos of the figure.
It's possible they're one of the many that really have no clue how to list something correctly with real pictures and a more complete description, or they might figure for what it is, they didn't have to bother because it will sell.

I'm with Fonsy, this looks a little suspicious.

Holy cow!
The highest bid is now $5,850.00 and there's 21 hours to go. I still don't believe this is on the level. Fonsy http://fonsy.weebly.com/ Dummies For Sale # |

I messaged the Seller when the auction was first placed on eBay (just out of curiosity, I'm not buying from there again lol) and asked to see some photos of the actual figure they're selling and to date have not received a response. I doubt anyone would bid such a high price for that figure. It's definitely VERY suspicious

I also messaged him about photos. Got a response, that he would be posting the next day. That was three days ago. Perhaps the figure is made of GOLD.

Maybe I'm just naturally suspicious of eBay sellers right now, but I've never seen a figure bid up to such high prices, especially based on stock images as a description. I only hope that if they are legitimate buyers placing those bids they don't get ripped off.

I don't believe they are legitimate buyers, I don't see anyone bidding that much for that. All they've done is convince me it's a bogus auction.

I sometimes wish that eBay were policed better by its owners.
