Yes, this dvd teaches some very good (but really hard) card flourishes and cuts.
I would recommend for advance card manipulators. |

I would recommend this dvd.
But there are some bad points, like there are no personal touches, helpfull tips etc.The explanations of the cuts/flourishes are not in any great detail, the explanations are the bare minimum of what you would expect. And lastly the verbal explanations are not in time with actual moves, which makes it very hard to learn from. Just my thoughts DADE

If you are new to flourishes I wouldnt go for this. It is very difficult, and prior knowledge is reall ynecessary IMO. The teaching is not too good, as the audio is out of synch. I'd get it if I was you, just so you have it, as its a valuable dvd to have if you are taking flourishes seriously.

The demo was ok, but the teaching was horrible! I hated it. The DVD is ok when compared to his earlier work or other wanna be flourishers, but Gen-X can't hold a candle to other flourish DVDs like De'vo's Cradle to Grave.
If you are a flourish nut and want to own them all, then go for it. But if your looking for one or 2 great flourish DVDs, then I would steer clear. |

Then for the sake of God, get CTG!

Then the CTG DVD is perfect for you. The routine they wouldn't show on the preview is all about cutting the cards in seriously crazy ways and the end effect will kill both laymen and magicians. It's a false routine at that. Not tudor, not the bucks, no one has come up with a cutting concept like this one.
I know everyone that has seen the CTG routine will agree. Visual learning? Then there you have it, CTG is all visual, no talking. I can't think of a better DVD for you. The tudors vids are almost impossible to learn from, as is many others. This is a no brainer for those of us that have all the flourish DVDs. CTG! |

Yes! After you get CTG, you get some easy bonuses that are NOT on the DVD! Its really worth it. don't think too much.

Yes CTG. Others, you HAVE to get the encyclopedia of playing card flourishes!
If you like card manipulations and flourishes, McBride is a good way to go. |

" How can you actually recommend the DVD when you cannot even list one good point in your review?!? I personally thought that this DVD was one of the worst I EVER saw. Why??? (where do I begin...): -The explanations are very poor and lacking. (it is supposed to be a teaching/learning tool and it fails) -No audience interaction (or kept to a minimum). -You never see his face (no connection to him either) -The tone of voice of Mr Tudor uses is one of the most boring I ever heard! -the verbal explanations are not in synch with the actual moves/sleights, which makes it even harder to follow what is actually going one. -and that is just the tips of the iceberg!!! Maybe he is good with cards, but he fails horribly as a teacher of magic. Ronnie Lemieux Montreal Canada

If you are interested in learning flourishes, try de'vo's. His teaching metd is super in depth(sometimes too indepth) and also cap casinos's cap cuts and recapped. Get recapped only if you have cap cuts as its more of an add on to the flourishes there.
If you are only interested in watching then I suggest get generation X. Tudor has nice cuts and everything but you can forget abt learning unless you are very patient and don mind rewinding every few minutes to match the hand movements. Show off 1 and 2 by him is better and his explanations are clearer but I think both are out of production A few others you might wanna try is perhaps buck twins' system. teaching isn't that clear but at least its still way better then gen X. cheerios
Think outside the box, cos people are all thinking inside now!! - ClouDsss
