Magicfish, this is a nice routine. it's great as a quick trick. Doug Conn in his book tricks of my trade has a routine which utilizes this idea of Williamson's. Also if I'm remembering correctly there's also a routine in the Flicking Fingers book, Don't forget to point, that also makes use of this idea within a long routine.

Very nice. Williams Wonders is a great book in general. The one the gentleman refers to by Doug Conn is called Copper, Silver, Brash. It's in his book Tricks of my Trade which is back in print. The only drawback to Mr. Conn's routine is you need a table for a certain part. But with a little creative thinking I think you'll be able to get around that. On a side note it's a fantastic book. If coins with a purse routines intrigue you, also check out Doug Brewer's book The Unexpected Visitor. He has a wonderful non gimmicked coin purse routine. Plus some other real gems.
