Epoch is a simple move that enables the magician to load a selection from the deck to behind his watch face. This happens under cover of spreading the deck.
The magician has a card selected and lost back into the deck. Seconds later, without any funny moves, the card is found underneath the magicians watch! He then fairly loses it back into the deck and less than a second after, it is seen back underneath the watch of the magician! Perfect for any coin/card under watch routines. A simple two phase routine which is fast, baffling and requires next to no misdirection! This move will hopefully open the doors for many presentational additions and can be added to many of your already existing routines. At any time during your routine, load a card under your own watch during the spreading of a deck between your hands. Its a shocking moment for the spectators and so much fun to perform! You receive a beautifully produced PDF with HD studio shot images as well as a link to a streaming HD video with two angles and a walkthrough. All of this for £1.99! This is a great little move that I love performing and I'm sure you will enjoy too! Mini review
I don't know Jamie and got this as a review copy. I have been a fan of Etienne Pradier for years now. His 'Professional repertoire' DVD set is one of the best I have seen. Mr P has a fast paced card routine which includes a watch load / change, which Jamie credits as an inspiration. What you get: A streamed video clip of the move(s) from behind, from the front and a full speed (front). The quality is good although a bit blurry in places (this could just be 'artistic' filming). A PDF which is not full of typos, with instructions that are readable and well laid out. The pictures are plentiful and of a high quality. There is a basic routine, although anyone with a tiny bit of imagination could easily integrate this into other routines. The 'move' as it is, is both logical, easy and fairly foolproof. Who should buy this? If you already do a card under your own watch with a change (like the Pradier routine), then there may not be a lot here for you (although you may appreciate Jamie's work on it). If you don't, but you are interested in adding such a routine or move into your set, then I doubt you will be disappointed. Overall: Well taught and very good value for £1.99. In reviews, I normally tried to come up with more constructive critiques, but at the price point and with what you get, I really can't knock this. Jamie makes it clear on what you get and he delivers at a minimal price. I would be highly surprised if anyone is less than happy. Charlie |
