I'm teaching myself how to use photoshop so I don't have to rely on friends anymore and so I can create my own artwork for my publicity and such.

I've been having my wife teach me to photoshop recently, made a nice magical 'Magic BUBBLES' label for a large container of bubble solution.
I like the book cover though thanks for sharing

Nice work,
as soon as I finish my move, that is one of my upcoming projects learn some basic photoshop (for personal satisfaction and to redo my old set of lecture notes)

Another useful program, for making your own "Classic Style" posters, would be Poser or DAZ Studio.
