I still can't make up my mind about this trick. I've seen it performed and I think it's kind of cool, but I can't think of a time when I would actually use the thing. I mostly work restaurant walk around.
I was just wondering if anyone has tried this on real people. I would imagine the reactions aren't amazing, but kids might really think it's cool. The reason I say that is because I regularly perform Greg Wilson's Dishonest Abe. There's a part in the effect where I hold a magnifying glass over a penny and it looks bigger. Of course the real trick is that I pull the magnifying glass away and it really is bigger, but I've always been surprised by the reaction some kids give to just seeing the penny enlarged under the lense. I guess a lot of them have never used a magnifying glass before and think that it is a bit magical (which it is kind of if you think about it.) Anyways, I figured if they think a magnifying glass is cool, they ought to like the lubor lense. I'd really like to hear your opinions and also about any experiences you've had performing Reality Twister. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I bought this effect and really didn't like it. That's just my 2 cents.

I perform Rt all the time in my restaurant work and I'm very pleased with the response. If interested in my presentation email me and maybe what I'm doing will appeal to you. I've been doing this for awhile now and am startin gto have people request it! For me that makes it a winner, but it really is all about presentation! Stay amazing, Mystero.

I have Reality Twister and think of it as more of an optical effect. The person who thought it was the coolest was four years old - kids definately like it. I haven't had a chance yet to see the new Reality Twister booklet which might give me more ideas, but as Mystero said, to make it work for most people, presentation is key.

I didn't like it at first but after I bought the book "Astonishing New Twists With Paul Harris Reality Twister" and the routines made me like it after all.
