As the subject title says what is the best toppit in the market today

I bought a simple one many many years ago, not knowing what a topit was. A crappy pouch with safety pins. Then I bought cloth and sewed my own, that suited my jacket and my gestures.
I really wonder why one would buy a topit instead of crafting one's own, given that they know the principle. P! |

You may have to contact him directly, but Jay Scott Berry has reinvented this with a literally “can’t miss” design. He’s demoing it at his lectures right now, and it is pure genius.

It's been for sale in the shops, but when I looked last night everyone seems to be sold out.

I have a TKO 2.0 which I have limited coin success with, as I keep missing the pocket lol. Haven't utilized it to it's full potential, ( cards etc.) but will experiment more when I've got time.
It is pretty useful, and I love the way I can just casually press my arm across my stomach and it's undetectable.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

This depends on what your purposes. And, I temper that with the admission of never having seen jSBs new version, but I have heard from other sources that it is better. I'm familiar with Michael Ammars and have used it in the past. I have also heard that Dan Sylvester, AKA Sylvester the Jester, has a design that doesn't require a jacket. rom what I understand, it is built into your shirt and opens very differently that either JSBs or MAs. If you really want to decide which is best, and not just follow a possible fad, it would be best to get instructions, books, etc. for all three and try each one. You have to remember, someone experienced with a Toppit can make it look oh so easy and strong, but they all require extensive practice with the correct techniques to work. It's not just a matter of tossing stuff into a special pocket sewn into your jacket!

That’s a great idea, Scott, that I had forgotten about. One of the magic shops I worked for in my younger days was owned by a guy who also owned a tuxedo rental chain. I went to work every day in an Edwardian tux. I remember that I modified the cummerbund (crumb-catcher) to hold a pretty decent load. Even without changes, those folds could hold a coin or two.

Good point DW! And thanks for calling it a 'cummerbund' instead of a 'cumberbun' which is one of my word pet peeves. Kind of like in a movie that features horse soldiers and they call them 'calvary' instead of 'cavalry'! "Here comes the calvary!" I sure hope not because if the Calvary is what you mean then we have a big plate tectonics problem!
