Hello,

I've been a lurker here for ages but finally got around to registering. A wealth of information here that has been (and continues to be) appreciated. I'm a variety performer out of Virginia; mostly magic these days but have done some stage and theater clowning in the past. Very proficient at balloon art but it's one of those things that I've never loved doing, even though I'm "good" at it. I've never been able to wrap my head around the idea of people standing in line for eternity as a form of entertainment (despite the efforts made to entertain the line). I guess magic is more personal at some level, and your interactions aren't always on a timer (like the 3ish minutes max to get the kid moved on along in the balloon assembly line) and I like that aspect of being able to interact at whatever level and pace I choose with my audience whilst performing magic.

Anyway - I don't want this to turn all dreamy or get too lengthy!

So.. I'll wrap it up by saying a "hello," and offer another thanks for the information I've all ready received here as well as that which I'm certain will come in the future.
