I tried this effect for 2 weeks before to write my opinion.
The first impact when you read the explanation will be that this effect is too much difficult, but as you try it you will realize that the effect is really easy (It requires just 1 hour of training). It uses a mix of techniques and ideas in order to have a cleanest ACAAN. Everything is well thought. Here a brief description: A deck of cards is in full view. The spectator selects a card and a number using an imaginary deck tossed in air and an imaginary urn. The selected number will be used to move the selected card inside the imaginary deck of cards. After this mental process, the spectator removes the cards from the box and counts the cards. The selected card will be there. I like this effect because it is very direct and totally hands free. You have an high chance to perform the perfect version of ACAAN and even when this doesn't appear everyone will remember it like the perfect version. There is also a version where you perform really the perfect one and this appears 100% of the time when you have the condition to perform it. The impromptu perfomance is almost the same version, but requires you learn a technique, but the good news is that you can re-use it also for other effects. If you are an ACAAN fan, I suggest to give a look at this version. (you can find it here: https://sites.google.com/site/m2mmagictrick/theacaanfinale ) MP |

Tommy was kind enough to send me a review copy of his latest ebook The ACAAN Finale which presents several different ways of securing an ACAAN-type effect. The principal method is totally hands-off (the deck is boxed and the performer does not need to touch the box or deck). The spectator names a card (free choice of any card) and chooses a number. He removes the cards from the box, and counts the cards to find his named card at the chosen number.
The method is not 100% (Tommy claims 99% and I imagine that, with good spectator management, this is probably achievable). When this method does not work out, other strategems are used to ensure a good magical outcome. If you are expecting a true ACAAN, you may be disappointed - ACAAN Finale is ACAN, not ACAAN. It may not be a magician fooler but, for lay people, it should leave a strong impression. The effect is essentially self-working, but will require practice and also needs some mental agility in performance. The PDF includes some procedural variations, including an impromptu method, and another that is very strong, although some performers may feel uncomfortable with the method used. Overall, ACAAN Finale is another interesting contribution to the ACAAN corpus from Tommy, though I doubt that it is really his last word on the genre. Mike |

Thank you very much Mike.
As soon as possible I will release a new ACAAN as free bonus. The effect will be this one. A spectator names any number (No force): 20. The performer spread the deck face-down onto the table and ask the spectator to select a card (No force). (If you want you can spread also the deck face-up so the spectator can select any cards he wishes and not a random card) He asks the spectator to cut the deck in 3 piles and to put the selected card on the middle pile and to complete the cut. After many spectator cuts the performer hands the deck the spectator and ask him to imagine to move mentally his card at his number. After this step the spectator counts the cards and selected card will be there. No forcing technique and it works 100% of the times no sleight of hands it is very easy to perform. Bye Tommy.

Here another bonus effect:
No Contact Mind Reading + acaan Have 2 spectators. A deck of card is shuffled. A spec. selects a card and he loses it inside the deck. You explain that you will perform with him a mental effect based on No Contact Mind Reading after. With second spectator you explain that you perform an effect called Any Card At Any Number. In order to select a random number and a random card the selection process will be this: (From now the effect is totally hands off. yoy don't touch ever the deck again) Number Part: Ask the spectator to cut a pile from the deck and to count under the table a many cards he has cut off. No one knows, aside the spectator, this number. Card Selection: You ask the spect. to square the deck and spread it face-down onto the table and select one. After you ask him to split the deck in 3 piles and put his card on the middle pack and to complete the cut squaring it again. Ask the first spectator to cut and to complete the cut as many times he wants. Now, you ask the spectator to spread the deck face-up and to move his index finger on the deck as he thinks at his card and to continue until you call stop. After a while you call stop and all the cards at left of his finger are discarted. The process is repeated but this time starting from the other side and as you call stop all the cards at right of his finger will be removed. This process is repeated until one is left and this card is the first spectator card. Now, you ask the second spectator to square the deck and to hand it and to perform a mental experimemt ie to inagine to move his card at his number in the pack. After you ask ha him to call out the card and number. He counts the cards and his card wull be there. This will be my second free bonus effect. I assure you that this effect is killer bye Tommy

Hi everyone,
I also have this new effect by Tommaso Guglielmi. While I can't go into details in the exact working, because of the nature of this effect, some key points to consider. The effect requires a full deck set-up for the perfect working, but also an alternative way is possible from a shuffled deck. I only tried out the full deck set-up. The card/number selection procedure : It is tricky to describe without tipping any method, but if I wanted to make an example , I would look at Silent Running by Ben Harris. The difference is that the selection procedure is not that "strict", you can have much more freedom in both the card, and the number. I also have a ( tried out ) version, where the performer doesn't know either the card and the number, when the participant already has the deck in her hands. The effect always finishes with a successful conclusion, but sometimes it finishes as an other effect. Let's say - it goes from mentalism to mental magic, but this "out" is at least as good as the main effect, so you don't have to worry or resort some unwanted effect. If this is an ACAAN,/ACAN> I would say this is a ToCaToN, Thought of card, at Thought of Number. Difficulty : Well, it's not easy, cause it requires some mental gymnastics, and you have to make quick calculations in your head while you're working with a spectator. But, the good thing is that you can practice it without anyone needed. In this case it's about ( 7/10 ) If you're like me, you can easily make a cheat-sheet In this case it's about ( 1/10 ) Positive : Very quick, and ( with the cheat sheet ) easy, deck is usable for other effects. Negative : Not repeatable for the same person/group. |

I agree 100% with the last two HONEST reviews.
I will also add that Tommy is the acaan king. When you look at all he has contributed to this genre it goes without saying. Study this mans writings alone will move you ahead in the process. |

Tommy just came up with a new off-beat, interesting and refreshing and inspiring method. I guess you can easily adapt some bits for your own convenience.
Marc Paul nicely sums it up: "This is a really great solution to the ACAAN plot. It's elegant, direct and extremely practical. The thinking behind the method is clever and subtle. This is definitely worth adding to your arsenal of ACAAN methods". Best, RAPH

When I have a good idea try to see if it is possible to build a good ACAAN ( good is just my opionin maybe for other this is not true ). As I have a good one, I try to share it in my pdf. Talking about Lost ACAAN, I had a new idea too, maybe I will add this idea in my next release of this pdf, anyway it is easy to build. For everyone that have my pdf, I suggest this variant of Lost ACAAN. Inside the version with NCRM the second spectator cut the deck and count the cards under the tample, I change it using the same idea used in Chaos ACAAN. In this case the first spectator selects a card and loses it inside the deck. Now, you shuffle the deck like in Chaos ACAAN and ask the second spectator to name a number, then you square the deck and spread it on the table asking him to take also a card and to remember it. At this point, ask the spectator to cut the deck in 3 piles and to put his card on the middle pile and to complete the cut. Ask to perform some other cut and as he finished, spread the cards face-up on the table and find the first spectator card using the No Contanct Mind Reading like effect, then square the deck and perform the ACAAN with second spectator. In this variant I changed the current number part, with Chaos ACAAN idea. The result is really good. If you have it (you have purchased it directly from me) and you doesn't see how you can do it, please contact me via private mail and I will explain the secret. If you purchased it from Lybrary, you will wait that I write a new free bonus effect, anyaway this effect is easy to figure out if you know Lost ACAAN and Chaos ACAAN. Thank you everyone who supported my work. Bye Tommy

Seems like I have quite a number of things to go through this weekend. Wow, I just glimpsed the entire eBook and the section that caught my attention was, "How Tommy could ever think out those special magic formula in order to make it works?"
This section catches my attention greatly and I hope I could grasp the concept and would love to try this out to my friends. Hopefully my review would be up soon at my blog. Hello , I bought this effect last week , at the beginning I thought that it's just a joke and doesn't worth to buy , but then when I read it well and think about it I really found that there is a great chance to perform the perfect acaan version in a very unbelieveable way , I really really recommend it but it need a lot of practice specially on the presentation !!

I like also this presentation than the orginal one where the spectator names a card and a number and the card is there. Here everything is better and well justified, the spectator moves mentally a card to his named number and his card will be there and this happens without the performer touches ever the deck. In this version the spectator, in all possible case (worst case), doesn't have to perform any adjustment (cut, remove the joker, secret switch, etc. ), he must just count at named number and the trick is done.
