I am working on new techniques and know not what to do. I make a card vanish with no backpalming and one appear in the other. Also, then I make the whole deck, fanned, appear in other hand. Does this sound good! Has anyone ever used a pull with cards?

My only advice is do what looks good to you and what gets good reactions from the audience. Know that an audience should never know your method or technique any ways.. so use what works to vreate the best magical experience.

Indeed. That are so many variations, routines that you can put together (infinite even) that theres lots of ggod stuff to try. Be aware though, if it isn't getting good responses from your audience, this doesn't mean that the move or sequence is not good - moreover, it may have something to do with the way you are presenting it. The threads on character etc, on some other posts should be of some help here.

That is very true Maylor. It may not be the trick you are doing that is not capturing the audience. it may indeed be your presentation or lack of one.

To your question: Does anyone ever use a pull on cards?
YES! However, black art wells, bagging in tail coats, etc. work better for me. I don't mind starting with strings everywhere, but I hate finishing with them around. I am more likely to get careless after the routine than before. |
