Juz curious as to which of these 2 dvds are the better buy and whether the sleights and effects taught in these 2 dvds are feasible in the real world.

I saw a friend's copy and it is a wonder to watch marlo's sleights. simply breathtaking. he had the combo package so I'm not sure which was which. but it will take ALOT of practice to get these moves down well. they are feasible in the real world but a lot of the effects require that you are sitting at a table. if you like to stand and do walkaround this might not be the best set of dvds to get.

I have the Cardician video and its very good, Marlo performs his card magic extremely smoothly.
Its a joy to watch the legend work. Cardician & Legend Set: http://www.a1magicalmedia.com/prod_templ......tid=1020 |

IMO, I prefer the Cardician DVD rather than The Legend.

I have them both, and I am actually displeased with them. I don't know why, I can't explain it. But it's still a good thing to have.

'You are displeased with them yet it is a good thing to have..' hmm, that seems rather contradictory don't you think?

Hi Lonewolf. With regards to which DVD is better, I guess its really a matter of preference. For instance, if you're into passes, then The Cardician has got quite a few of them. If you're into the Tabled Faro, then take a look at The Legend. For me, I like both DVDs very much, but if I'm forced to choose one, I would say I like The Legend slightly more.
With regards to feasibility, I think that some of the sleights in these DVDs can be pretty demanding, eg. one-handed centre deal, multiple minus bottom, tabled faro, etc. However, there are some sleights & effects in these DVDs which are not too difficult, and may play well in the real world. Hope this helps! |

If you get either, you will eventually want the other.
