Hi there, this is my first post on the Café so fingers crossed. I am wondering if anyone can help me find or give me the name of the Illusion where the magician places the assistant standing in a box which usually has 3 doors, they close and he/she puts his/her hand through the middle, the magician then inserts 3 silver blades and the middle part of the box is pulled to one side creating the isllusion of cutting the assistant in half. I would like to purchase or recreate the effect for a comedy act I am considering creating, and have no idea where to start looking.Any help greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a Zig Zag to me. Although 2 blades are used.

This Zig Zag illusion is published by the inventor in his book The magic of Robert Harbin. Don't be misled by many bad copies/ripp offs.
