Hi I was not exactly sure where to put these but it seems this might be the right place. Are these Horace Marshall? Can you tell by the photos? I found them in an old barn in Ipstate New York and got them for almost nothing.

Yes, they appear to ones Horace made. He changed the design over the years. I have one that is very similar that was John Frye. I have a photo of him using it.
It appears the one has been repainted. The other is the inlaid that Horace often did. I do hope you are not using them as they are really dangerous. He used real meat cleavers to make them. If the catch swing the wrong way, you got some real problems. Let me know if you ever want to get rid of the unpainted one. Richard
