Hi Everyone,
Just signed up and very impressed with the forum. Im just a amateur hobbyist. Want to learn about the history of magic so any book recommendations will be great. Barrie

My friend just gave me some because he felt my knowledge of the history of magic was seriously lacking!
The Illustrated History of Magic by Christopher Crowell Magic, A Picture History, by Milbourne Christopher The Original Houdini Scrapbook by Walter B. Gibson. The Magic Catalogue: A Guide to the Wonderful World of Magic by William Doerflinger I'm sure the more experienced folks around here can and will suggest some others, but this is what I've gotten started on recently. And welcome to the Café pieaddict!
