T.U.C. (Tango Ultimate Coin) - The only coin to EVER win the FISM Invention award.
http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/3681 If you saw the Penguin LIVE lecture from Marcelo Insua, then you know how powerful this coin really is! "The TUC is a devious coin gimmick!! It allows you to do magic previously only possible with advanced sleight of hand. Its unique construction makes it possible to have two or one coins cleanly in your hand at any given time. This allows you to improve your handling of any routine that needs to secretly add or subtract a coin. What a wonderful addition to our arsenal in the ongoing effort to improve and enhance coin magic!" -Dr. Michael Rubinstein "I'm not a coin-guy, but after working with TUC I'll start to be one. Precision made, practical, reliable, and easy to handle. Great stuff! Try it!" -Lennart Green The T.U.C (Tango Ultimate Coin) is the result of many years of hard work and professional experience. This gaffed coin allows you to do hundreds of magic effects, it will soon became a classic that will be found in every magicians pockets. In this DVD you will learn different effects such as: matrix, 3 fly coin, coin thru glass, coin thru deck, coin across, coins transposition and many more ideas and techniques that will give you the tools to create your own magic tricks. They used to offer discounts on their TUCs, but since it looks like they all sell for full retail now - just about everywhere and not just at Penguin - I would guess that Tango is mandating that all TUCs be sold for the suggested retail price and no lower. I got my Eisenhower TUC for $56, exactly 1 year ago. The mystery is where I got $56 for a single coin gaff ( that might have been a drinking night ).
Having used it, I'd have paid more. Here's Marcelo performing the coins across with the Eisenhower TUC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_01PgKPSn.......be&t=9s |

So THAT's where my $56 went! Mystery solved!
You're going to have to send that coin to me, Zombie! I'm not mad at you, Z- just do the right thing and send it to me, OK? But seriously, this is high on my "must get" list. I just don't have the extra cash right now. Maybe it's time to sell some of my unused magic, which I very rarely do. Anyone interested in trading for some "Blackout" coins? I've got doubles on the Kennedy half and the quarter. A friend of mine has this, and I know how it works, and it is a very nice thing. I do like it a lot! :bat: |

Just got mine. Nothing like what I expected it to be. Very creative in its simplicity and I'm looking forward to working on his coins across routine.

In Marcelo's Penguin lecture, he spends a lot of time with the TUC, if that's of any interest.

I have 2 us 1/2 dollar T.U.C's. On one, the gaff split. I have asked for advice on repair from Mr. Tango 3 times and they have not responded. I want to know how to properly clean and then properly and permanently re-adhere the gaff. It seems to me that the substance used in other gaffs like flippers would not be appropriate. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated as I really like this toy!

Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you're probably right. |
