Hi everybody,
while practising the Anniversary Waltz I wondered how I should best handle the end of the routine, where the cards "recombine" together. Right now I don't have the guts, to do it as described in the routine (aka in the spectator's hands). How do you handle that ? Please feel free to PM me, as discussing this openly would probably be short of tipping the secret. Thanks for any advice. Magical greetings, MrClue |

I think the ending in the instructions is fine. It might feel like a bold move to pretend to put two cards in their hands, but if you do it right then it should be no problem. Each person is only touching the cards with one hand, so they really can't tell anyway. Pretend to handle the "two" cards very carefully as your placing "them" into their hands. This gives them the impression that your trying to keep "them" perfectly squared. It should work without any questions asked. When they open their hands again and see only one card they might be a little confused, but when they turn it over they will be astounded.
If you still don't want to do it, then try the "Cold Fusion" handling included in the instructions. Good Luck!

I did this at a wedding for the first time and I was nervous also, but if you just do it you will be fine. Remember that they have no idea how the trick works, so they expect nothing. Go for it and you will see a reaction above and beyond 99% of your effects.

AS already stated, JUST DO IT, it may sound funny buit while you are performing the effect make yourself believe you are handing the spectators two seperate cards, if you do not believe it then how can they.

Tip: handle the gaff as if it REALLY IS a two-card packet. If you BELIEVE there are two cards there, your grip and posture will help telegraph this to your spectators.
