Just a note to all my friends across the pond, in the UK and parts far and wide. My GOD you make a good biscuit! My fiance lived in London for two years and tonight she got the desire for a delicious bickie. So I looked on the internet for some importers near my house and it turns out our regular grocery store carries them. BOY they are delicious and even more so in tea. I nearly ate a whole box on the way home.

In any case, bickies got me to thinking. Why do so few people in America eat bickies? And then that got me to thinking: Why is it that so few magicians do escapes? And why is the escape community sometimes set apart from the magic community? There are exceptions of course, but on the whole magicians don't do escapes that much. Is it:

A. They don't want to do the work involved (physically, sweat a lot, etc)
B. They don't want to take the risk (injury, not getting out, etc)
C. Escapes are now more in the carnival realm than the Magic Realm

or

D. Other.

I am dunking a bickie for all of you!

What brand of "bickie" are you referring to? We have some great names over here Hob Nob, Penguin, Wagon Wheels, Kit Kat, Rocky, Barny, Jammie Dodgers etc.

I have some french ones and some british ones. And they are goooooooooooooooood.

They are cookies as americans refer to them, but they are dry and usually buttery which makes them good for dunking in tea. To be honest they are a bit different than american cookies which tend to be softer and bigger.

If they are basically butter cookies, then we have many here and yes they are very good, especially for dunking.

Both are fun if you do it right!

Richtea style (Digestives if you want to be radical) dunked into tea (builders grade with milk and multiple sugars)

D other...

...Like the bickies it is each to their own amd their own take not only what they want to do but also what the guests (audience) want.

I hate to do this to my British friends but I find the french ones to be incredible. Maybe because I'm part french.
