Hello Tom,
I am a big fan of books and was wondering if you would share the titles that were key to your development as a magician? Thank you for your time! Regards, Nate |

Hi Nate! Expert at the Card Table was an important book to me during my formative years. LOVE Complete Works of Derek Dingle, Dai Vernon Book of Magic, Illustrated History of Magic by Milborne Christopher, Joel Bauer's Hustle Hustle, So many great books! Here's one that not a magic book but great for negotiating. . "Getting to Yes"
Just a few titles to get things started. What are some of your favorite books? I am currently re-reading Strong Magic by Darwin Ortiz. Excellent! |

Since you asked Tom,
My favourite book is"Maximum Entertainment" by Ken Webber. If purchased years earlier, it would have save me perhaps years of trials and errors. I highly recommend it! I think it's a more user friendly version of Darwin's, "Strong Magic". I drift back and forth between each book when I need some inspiration. I cannot leave out, "The Encyclopedia of Magic" by Mark Wilson as there were no shops in my town growing up. |

Clement Stone. Currently reading: The Royal Touch |

Tom,
The Royal Touch is proving to be a great book. From an aesthetic standpoint, it looks like a magic book. Furthermore, when I read it one word comes to mind: Freedom! Magical indeed. |
