I am looking for visual "tricks" to use with my ventriloquist dummy that I built.
First up I have scrapped the idea of calling my vent dummy "Mr Sausage" instead I have named him "Tad Trendy". My plan is to let everyone have a "go" at being a vent at happy hours and gatherings of friends. But to add to the experience I am looking for some tricks and props. The more pathetic they are the better, because the whole idea is getting a laugh by being not very good at it. I have stuck his left ear on with velcro and it has some fishing line to pull his ear off. (that is pathetic but it gets a laugh) So I am looking for more tricks and props for him. He fits in a carry bag so there is room for some bits and pieces. I was thinking about "vesting" him up with a load of of silly joke things. He would have to ask someone to get them out for him. So I would appreciate any suggestions. I am also planning a few scenarios for him #1 the vent will be a cop and Tad Trendy will be his only witness to a crime - the cop will have cue cards and Tand will have to make his own dialogue. #2 Will be a kangaroo court - The audience will be the judge and jury prosecutors and general finger pointers and poor Tad will try to talk his way out of his predicament. I will sort some CUE cards and Props for that (maybe evidence of the vent figure he killed) Anyway I need help so any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks Col |
