Hey all, I'm in San Francisco right now. Thought I'd take a bit of time before the focus on street magic class in Vegas. Anyway, it seems like a tough town to try for shows. I've tried the east bay a bit, not much luck yet, but still looking for spots.
I'm gonna head down to the wharf today, see if I might run into jerry salazar or gaddy, maybe grab a cup of coffee. Also, anyone know how monterey/Santa Cruz is these days? Thinking About a day trip. |

I left yesterday, got into Vegas. SF was alright, took some adjusting and getting used to. REalized one of the major weaknesses in my show, threw me off for a bit. Still trying to get it worked out.
It's not a great town for a traveling performer (On the wharf, anyway) due to their permit system, but I can see it being pretty decent for someone who wanted it to be their home base. Lots of walkoffs though (ALthough that's likely more due to my low skill-level than anything else). The local street magicians were very friendly as well. |

I didn't see him, and I looked around a bit. I did see a clockwork looking guy on the wharf, it was a nice break from the silver dudes. He had a few people gathered, otherwise I would've said hey. When I got back later he was gone.
