It's hard to observe Halloween in Southern California without thinking of Hollywood Magic. It closed four years ago just before Halloween due to a family squabble. What a loss. The Magic Apple in Studio City has come on strong, but all that great Bert Wheeler/Louis St. Pierre/Hollywood Magic history is now a closed book. Thanks for the memories.

Hollywood Magic was THE place when Doug Malloy worked there.

I refuse to throw out my Hollywood Magic catalogue (1978).
