If you need a good laugh, search for (and watch) SyFy's "Sharknado". The entire movie is sort of like a modern-day "Plan 9 from Outer Space", but the last 25 minutes are possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen. What's even funnier is that there is a gag reel also...
What other movies have you found with dumb scenes that are worth watching?

Keep in mind that, unlike Plan 9, Sharknado was INTENDED to be so bad that it would actually be good. And I think they succeeded.

Not the dumbest.
But close though...

Bigfoot was great. Isn't that the one that also featured Alice Cooper?
Like Sharknado, Bigfoot was obviously intended to be "so bad that it's good." I would have loved to have been a script writer on projects like those. But if you want to make a list of films that WEREN'T intended to be bad but were so unintentionally funny that they eventually became cult classics, Plan 9 From Outer Space would be right up there next to the other perennially hysterically funny disaster, Reefer Madness. (Some later episodes of Jack Webb's "Dragnet" also qualify.) They're funny because of the obvious cluelessness of their creators. Sharknado, et al, don't fit belong in the same category because they're obvious parodies. |

How about "The Room?" The creator has since claimed that he meant it as satire, but it doesn't even make sense as satire!
Here's a review; http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videoli......the-room For that matter, he's also reviewed "Sharknado" http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videoli......harknado

What about the classic "Rocky Horror Picture Show"? The cult was huge, and I never laughed so hard on the audience interaction.

The Outlaw directed by Howard Hughes is funny.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Probably 99% of the "drive-in" movies could make this list. This would include virtually all of the B horror films.
But, since The Brady Bunch has already been brought up, my vote goes for "A Very Brady Christmas". They apparently tried to find out how sap it takes to cover the greatest amount of corn they could fit into 100 minutes of film. http://www.manic-expression.com/apps/blog/entries/show/21051169-a-look-at-a-very-brady-christmas-

Yes, it's still dumb. There is a major difference in A shark being washed up on a beach and a SCHOOL of sharks, flying through the air, still capable of attacking and eating people.
