Is this DVD demonstration only or are the moves taught and explained?

There is no teaching on the DVDs, it's all demo.

They're worth it at twice the price if you're serious about this type of work. The moves may not be taught but they are exposed.

I've said it before, I'd pay $100.00 just for the section titled "52". It's demo only, but I've learned a ton from it.

Yeah, it' well worth the money. It's an education. Actually for $100, it's a steal. The moves are all exposed but not taught in detail. Still, it's not really about learning the moves... It's about misdirection, history, terminology, types of moves... just loads of great info.

I paid way more than 100 bucks when they were on VHS and they were still a bargain to me. My hold out work improved immensely from watching Forte. No tension, no suspicion, no detection.
One time, when I was young, I botched a sleight so bad, Vernon, Marlo & Miller rolled over in their graves. But I didn't see Elmsley, probably because he was behind the others.

This has to be the most idiotic post on the Café in a long time. The Steve Forte GPS is the best value for money set on gambling available and if you have an interest in gambling manipulation you really must have the set.

You might notice that I said thanks for saving me $100 bucks after the only info I had was it was all demo only. Some people here are so quick to judge and attack. The name calling isn't helpful.

So then basing it on one piece of information isn't? Sorry if your offended but the fact of the matter is you'll learn more from watching Forte deal and riffle stack by watching then if it was a teaching video.

It's not necessary to call the poor guy an idiot, we all start somewhere... and how does he know if he doesn't ask. By the way this question has been asked many times before.
Having said that: Dude... if you have any interest at all in doing gambling sleight of hand then you must have this set. Nothing else on the market will add to your knowledge like this set will and you could easily pay many times the price trying to gather the equivalent information from many other sources. Easily worth the price... unless you are just looking for gambling "tricks" and "routines" for magicians. |

I already do a lot of gambling sleight of hand. I'm considering it still.
Here is also a helpful tip for the people who called me an idiot: You're is a contraction for you are. Your is possessive. I hope your sleight of hand is better than your grammar. You're welcome for the free lesson. |

Sorry, I forgot this was a forum for grammar. What degree of grammar do we want?
Again I do apologise if you're offended but if you are interested in gambling sleight of hand then you really must have the set. It is a treasure chest of information with everyone from Bill Malone to Johnny Thompson agreeing that it contains some of the greatest sleight of hand ever caught on video. Please get the set, you won't be dissappointed and again I do apologise for the use of the word idiotic. |

I've been holding onto his VHS series for a long time (almost 20 years). I've transferred to disc to save. classic

$100 worth every penny. Although I'm not that interested in the dice stuff and other moves. The disc on card moves, the pilot of the TV show on cheating and 52 are fantastic.

Twistedace,
Although I'm admittedly biased towards the Forte GPS, if you're serious about gambling sleight of hand, then they're phenomenal. They provide a near-perfect model for what moves like false deals, false shuffles, false cuts, palms, etc should look like. By attempting to emulate what Steve does, you get better - it's that simple. If you're genuinely serious about this stuff, not buying these might just be the most expensive $100 you've ever saved in your life. Jason PS: If you want to see someone explain and teach many of the moves on the GPS, try the links below. He's no Steve Forte, but he tries. https://store.theory11.com/products/foundations https://store.theory11.com/products/foundations-volume-two https://store.theory11.com/products/foundations-3

Jason has done a great job in re-releasing this material in DVD format. I can't imagine that anyone interested in this topic would not find this DVD set inspirational and learn much from it.
http://www.stevefortegps.com There is a useful "Questions" page here: http://www.stevefortegps.com/questions.html It's really amazing material and Jason has done all of us a great service in making it available in an accessible, profesionally produced manner. |

Can't wait for what Jason announced/was questioned on during the "At the Table" lecture. That's sure to be a great one as well.

I'm excited for that too splice. And sorry for being so rude twistedace in these posts, I must have been irrationally annoyed at something (probably uni exams).
Jason's foundations are great as well as are he Forte tapes. |
