Dr. Arthur Benjamin of Harvey Mudd College has 2 new videos out that Magical equations fans might enjoy.

The first is a 78-minute lecture in Washington, DC, from the 2013 Martin Gardner Celebration of Mind. This first one includes performances and explanations of calendar calculation, squaring, determining whether a number is prime, multiplication of 2-digit numbers, and even some excellent performance tips:

It seems the MAA has gone Arthur Benjamin crazy lately. They just put up 2 more videos of him!

The main one is a 12-minute video teaching how to square 2- and 3-digit numbers:
