It would be great if we could ask this question , get an answer or 2, buy those tricks and automatically be one hella funny guy on stage.
Unfortunately that doesn't happen. If you want tricks that are extra funny, learn the classics, perform them for years, and one day, they will start to be very funny and unique, if that's the direction you want to take them. They will be funnier than anything you could buy. Of course, that takes work, a notebook, lots of time and effort, success and failure..... and guts.

I'm with Frank.
The funniest effect I've ever performed is called "Einstein in My Pocket". It involves taking of my trousers (for good reason), revealing my boxers and sock garters underneath. A great way to overcome the fear of public speaking. And it ends with some pretty cool telepathy as a surprise. "I use to have nightmares I was performing without any pants on. Now you will ALL have nightmares that I'm performing without any pants on."
The secret of deception is in making the truth seem ridiculous.

Hi Frank,
When I asked what's the funniest trick you have seen. I didn't include by a magician in my question (my mistake). My response was a trick by Mac King. I was not asking how to be funny or copy a routine. Mike |

Funniest trick I’ve ever seen; Crisco doing any part of his act.
The funniest effect I’ve ever performed myself was a one off sub trunk routine I created for the Blackpool Magic Convention Competition in 1996. That was 17 years ago and only a few days ago I had someone talking about it to me. It was pretty amazing to have that one off creation get the comedy response it did…. it was better than all expectations and it was a bigger comedy magic moment than anything that I’d seen, or heard of, either before or since. And while it might be extraordinarily egocentric and in poor taste to brag about one’s own small comedy triumphs I’m happy to make an exception in this case. It makes me feel particularly good and indeed proud to have created something so overwhelmingly funny that the memory of the performance is still being spoken about and is still making people laugh 17 years after it happened.
