I was lucky enough to receive a copy of O.M.G. The trick's construction is a lesson in simplicity. It takes what some would call a gag and elevates it into miracle status. The trick is layered with subtleties that make it virtually impossible to backtrack for the audience. The only qualm I have is a) the aforementioned problem of not giving the spectator involved any real affect and b) I don't perform in stage settings so I have no immediate medium for performing O.M.G. However, it has given me a number of things to think about.

I was lucky enough to have also received a copy from a thread in 'Penny for your thoughts' and so posted some thoughts there.....many thanks for the routine, Mick.
Have you tried 'Up The Ante' yet?? The ultimate gambling demo....a self-working wonder! See the reviews here on the cafe.

First off, a big thank you to all of you who have posted your reviews on O.M.G.
It is a bold method, and does require spectator management to utilize this effect. I have taken your thoughts and comments on board, and have written up a user friendly method using a less bold approach, which still enables you to use the kicker ending to finish. I have added this this to the end of the original effect. Also Mark Chandaue has very graciously added a couple of great ideas too, a big thank you and full credit to Mark for these two additions. Again these use the less bold approach, and have been added to the end of the original as a bonus. I will send out the updates today to every one who posted a review. Best wishes, Michael. |

It wouldn't be right for me to review the update as I contributed to it. My own contributions are around having control over the random selection, and an alternative method for those that find the original too bold. I also offered a slight tweak to the script at the critical moment.
