KOTAH, thanks for your post. I was wondering if anybody on the Café was going to mention this. A day for solemn reflection and sincere gratitude to all those who sacrificed so much in WW2.

I agree the day should be one of reflection for the US ... but another horrible thing happened on December 7th ... my birth ...

My Dad was there on that day, I have been privy to some amazing stories.
I will also note, after the war was over, he made his peace with his former enemies. He made sure I knew that too. Thanks KOTAH
