Does anyone remember an old 20th Century Silks effect using red, white and blue silks?
I liked it because it lent itself to a patriotic theme, good for a closer. Despite all my searching, I have never come across this version now offered for sale. Has anyone else ever seen it, or even used this version? |

I don't know if you are not remembering this correctly or not, but the mechanical 20th Century needs a little variance to middle silk.
If you want to do 20th Century, their are many props like the Change Bag or Silk Cabbie on the magic market that you can use to do an easy 20th Century. Here is the patriotic Rice 50 Star Flag 20th Century silks: http://www.silkkingmagic.com/Rice's%205......tury.htm |

Hi Bill,
By little variance, do you mean if the white silk is the middle silk, it has a little blue at one end to match when the blue and red silks are tied together (at the beginning of the trick)? This is the version I had many years ago, and wish it was available today. Thanks for the link to the Flag 20th Century silks. I have never seen that version, and will look into it. . |

I can make that version up or you can buy the silks and make it yourself.
