Can you get as close to the audience as shown in the demo? Is the secret something invisible enough? I perform in a fairly well lit environment.

Sure can, even closer in the correct lighting.

Don't you own Horizon bowers? There's a method taught to get into and out of the effect. Also can be setup in your wallet all the time if you wish.

There's a method taught on the DVD which shows you how to get into the setting and out of it easily.
Personally I don't like this setup (I think it's not very practical) but that's why I use the alternative method with the wallet set-up (and I really really love it)
