Just prior to going on, I went over my intro with the MC. (he was also the one that hired me for the event)

He said, "my wife wanted to tell you that "Laughology" is not a real word.

About 1/2 way into my show,(and after a big laugh), the interaction popped into my head.

I "replayed" it for the audience. "Les tells me, his wife wanted me to know that Laughology wasn't a real word. (Laughter over my "yep" & nod of my head)

I can't remember the rest of the 14 second bit, I made up on the spot, but it went over.

Thus the reminder of the benefits of taping our shows.
