Wayne,
I know that all of us approach the creating process differently, but what road do you travel when creating new effects or routines? Are you inspired by a current idea and decide you've got a better way of achieving the effect, or are you perhaps watching a film and get inspired by something you just saw? I know that for myself ideas often come to me at 3am and I can't sleep until I write the thoughts down. When I awake I sometimes look back at my notes and continue to construct the thoughts into reality, while other times I scratch my head and wonder what the heck was I thinking because the concept now appears ridiculous. Do you have the same type of experience's?

Laughs' Steve I'm exactly like that ? We've all got a notepad or iPad now, next to the bed that we write ideas on and then the next morning you sit there at breakfast wondering what on earth was I thinking. Ideas come to me from the years of performing a single routine and kinda stumble on a thought that can make it more accessible. I also go about other ideas by simply giving myself a project, say I want to make a deck of cards melt away leaving one chosen card all in the spectators hands. I then carefully plan ideas and Solutions on how this can be done. Sometimes it goes on the back burner until weeks, even months later. It pays off sometimes and other times it doesn't but at the very least I'm honest to myself about whether it will be of use to my customers. The other way I get effects moving is that I also produce and manufacture effects of other magicians who want to join the Fox camp, watch this space for some really genuinely exciting effects for 2014.
