Tom is very clever creator and he was kind enough to share the method with me. I have to say, I have never seen anything like this before. The gimmick can be applied to many different objects.
Something to keep in mind is that you will need to go out and purchase something (for a very small cost) if you want to perform this trick. You won't be able to watch the download and make it out of items at home but I think the cost of the special something is nothing in comparison to the impact of the effect. |

I just purchased it. I've skyped with Tom a few times and he is super nice!
The method is exactly what I thought it was. I already had the gimmick lying around and they are very easy to find. This isn't the first time this gimmick has been used to make items twist. It's also been used to make items fall and such. The linking rubber band idea is pretty clever. Don't know why I didn't think of it. Overall, it's a decent effect. It can be fairly practical and even carried in your wallet. I'll play around with it. |
