Funny story. But as soon as I read it I realized it was a hoax as it contains details that the men could not possibly have known (for example, if they were running away from the truck, how would they know that the dog dropped the dynamite because he touched the hot tailpipe?) Further, a story like this would have been on every news outlet.
So I did a brief search and quick discovered that the story is fiction. Not only that, its over seventeen years old. It never happened: http://www.snopes.com/critters/cruelty/dynamite.asp |

Glad the dog is okay, but I'm checking now to make sure my car insurance covers gross idiocy involving weapons of mass destruction.

Also, when the story was first circulated back in 1997, the truck was a Cherokee, it supposedly took place in Michigan, and the payments on the truck were only $475 a month.
I guess even urban legends have to be updated for inflation. |

Fact or fiction, there would be no mistaking what I would be dropping as I ran away from the dog in that situation.
Enjoy the moment folks ! We need more laughs. Bobby. |

My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".
