I did both an internet and a Magic Café search and was surprised not to see any thread on this.
I received this recently and was very excited to receive it. Maybe I was not in the best frame of mind, but as I watched the DVD, my excitement diminished. While I love the props, it seemed to me that the DVD was just a series of pretty predictable "Here's one way to make one shape change to a different shape... and here's another... and here's another." It was like watching ten different ways to tie the same shoe lace. It seems like there was very little thought put into how this could be part of an entertaining routine. Perhaps others could comment. KJ |

I think for the price you are getting what you described. The props and instructions in switching techniques, the entertaining routine is probably up to you.

I don't think price has anything to do with it. I expect the creator to actually see this in a professional, entertaining routine, and have a few thoughts about that. I just expected the creator to think this through a bit more and visualize this actually being used. Do you think this is something he would never use performing? If it is, I would think he would flesh out a little more content. Some of my best routines have come as inspirations from other magicians best routines. That's how magic grows. I already know the few little moves he taught. If that's all, then I could have purchased three 99 cent rings, hammered one into a square and another into a triangle.
