What is difficult to understand about "extreme weather events?"
I encourage everyone to actually read the link you posted. You might do so as well. |

Last night, the weather predictions for today were for a little wintery mix. I got up about 4:30am this morning and they had updated that to about 7" of snow for today. So much for science... and the shoveling I did yesterday.

And increase ice storms. But you selectively omitted that part. Have you noticed the extreme icy conditions in recent anomalous weather events?
Note also that when winter temperatures rise into the low thirties, snow fall actually increases due to more moisture in the air. "Milder temperatures," such as the high thirties will obviously result in fewer snow storms. Interesing, though, that you are citing the IPCC report to support your AWG denial. It's conclusions are the exact opposite. |

I'm not editing anything. That was a direct quote. Do I need to post the entire IPCC report to avoid the claim that I am editing it?
All I'm asking is where it was predicted that we would have the type of cold and snow we've had throughout much of the US. Like I said, 'extreme weather events' is a bit of a vague catchall. Is there really nothing more specific? I have to assume that there isn't as you don't seem to be able to come up with anything. I haven't speed read the entire reports as you have so I was hoping you might have found something that I didn't. Now, if the snow was due to the warm weather back east, you might have a point. However, it doesn't seem that that's been the problem. |

Let me ask a simple question.
Is there ANY type of weather that wouldn't be covered by the warmists prediction of 'extreme weather events'? Any at all? Even if the earth suddenly fell into a new ice age, wouldn't you still be saying, "Ah ha! Told you so! The models predicted extreme weather events!" A prediction that predicts anything and everything that happens doesn't seem to be terribly meaningful. |
