6 years ago I was diagnosed with heart problems and was told to get on the list for a heart transplant. I refused. Not interested.
Instead I asked for 2 months to see if I could bring my infraction rate back to normal and to everyones surprised I did and for 6 years my heart beat normal. Well, it's back with a again with a vengeance and now it's beating at only 12%. The weird thing is I feel pretty good. Something tells me I can do it again. This is why everything is in a holding pattern for me. Don't worry or feel sorry for me because I've had the best life you could have and I wouldn't change a second of it. I believe I'll be around for many more years. If I'm wrong I won't know the difference. I hope this clears up all the questions I've been getting? AJ

His was the first show I saw in Vegas. He was very funny and "Psychic Tanya" was a real sweetheart. I sure hope he recovers and keeps entertaining us for many more years.

I met him at The Funny Bone in South Bend. He had no reason to be nice to me but suffice as to say he was a sweetheart. Was using one of the first dictate programs to teach his computer swear words.

Well sir, you do have a terrifically positive attitude. It's served you well the past six years, and here's to many more.

I think when I saw him was around when he was first sick. It was obvious that he was tired but he powered through and did an awesome show and still hung in there for the meet and greet. That's a guy who is really dedicated to his fans and his show.

The OP is not AJ. He is simply conveying AJ's message. I don't even know if AJ visits the Café. But, if he does, he certainly has my best wishes.

I was lucky enough to be in the audiance for The Amazing Jonathan's final performance of his farewell tour at Laffs Inc. in Toldeo Ohio.
He was truly amazing, funny and an outstanding ambassador for magic and comedy. I wish him all the best in life and his future endeavors. |
