Yes. Silver, but I have found several old large Cents with my metal detector. These should make nice copper rings. Im starting with the method Landmark showed me.
It will be a slow process since I'm out of town a lot.

I'm not sure how malleable the copper will be compared to the silver, but I'm sure we're all interested in seeing the finished product!
