I saw this video and thought it was an interesting concept...
http://youtu.be/Pbdewwtm70w I'm imagining switching on the fly between cups and balls, ropes, misers dream, and blockhead. It would probably be too much for people to keep track of, but I guarantee that it would be something new they'd never have seen before. Thoughts? |

This is a great video. A simple looking concept well thought out. Great performers to deliver the idea as well.
I don't think switching in between tricks is the way to go but I have a few ideas. 1- have 3 jars one with a Fez, one with wide frame glasses and one with a Beret. So cash in the fez do your routine like Tommy cooper, glasses like Eric Morcombe and the beret do in French. 2- Do your show and build on a mystery finale. Then say it finale time but you want them to choose. Do your hat lines and get them to pay before the end and then you do the trick most voted for. There are issues with flow in this but it just a idea. It a cool idea thanks for pointing it out
Enjoy your magic,
and let others enjoy it as well! |

I've given thought to an Impressionist style of working but then decided that the audience would have to know the character first for it to really come off. Otherwise it's "Someone get that guy his pills."
