I know on the 4 when up grading to iOS, it slowed down the phone drastically. Tisk tisk apple, you clever devil you. Everyone I know who had the 4 got the 5 because of this.not sure about the 4s tho

Actually, 7.1 gives the iPhone 4 a pretty good speed BOOST:
http://arstechnica.com/apple/2014/03/ios......nd-more/ Kudos to Apple for writing an OS that improves performance on a device that was designed 5 years ago and introduced 4 years ago. There are a number of 2 year old Android phones that have no upgrade path to Kit Kat. For example, the Nexus phone is 2 years old and can't be upgraded to the most recent version of their own software because it is too old: http://www.zdnet.com/no-kitkat-for-samsu......00022711 Shane, you shouldn't see any major issues. Normally big problems like an app not working is with a major release like going from 6 to 7, not 7 to 7.1. Also, most of the time (and this is pretty general) you'll see more issues with older apps and less issues with apps that are updated frequently. This is almost always caused by an older app using a programming call that has been depricated. But basically, if it's an app that is updated frequently, you likely wont have any issues. Best regards, Scott |

That's good to hear, to bad some already sold their 4 (that I know) but they're happy with the 5, as am I.
