Yes, I am sorry to say but I do have another post about this. LOL. Please bear with me.
I am trying to do some spring cleaning and first try to sell items I have not used in a while. I do have this Mutilated Parasol I bought from a member of The Magic Café a few years ago (don't remember who it was). I paid around $250-275 for this. If memory serves me, I think they said it was a Harries model. But no instructions came with it. It comes with the umbrella, the cover and some silks..... that's it. I never used it because around the same time I bought a mutilated parasol from someone else which used a bright yellow portable umbrella and an ingenious prop to make the s****h. This latter item is the one I use. The bright hello really catches the eyes of the kids (and adults for this matter). So before I post this in The Tricks for Sale section, I would like to confirm the maker of this Mutilated Parasol. I thank all of you in advance for your patience and for your feedback. Regards, Jimmy

Jimmy, why didn't you put this up for sale about a year ago before I bought mine? That is nice! I love the way its made! I was hoping to see a photo of the mutilated parasol, but bu studying the other photos it seems this one is made really well, and is very, very deceptive! I believe the handle on this one would make it much more deceptive than my Abbott's model. Nice!

I am trying to do some spring cleaning and see if some of these things will find a home in which they will be put to use. Wish I had let you known.... just thought you might have been partial to the tie dyed colors. This is well made. And I like the cover but I use a smaller umbrella for my kid shows. I inly used this once or twice. I will post this on the Tricks for Sale sec ion sometime this weekend. Regards, Jimmy

I estimate that the parasol got used well over 5,000 shows. (I didn't use it in high schools as the presentation is geared to elementary groups.) NO ONE ever mentioned the handle, OR the "shaft" of the parasol. They're all looking at the parasol cover. Yes! ir's the "carnival prize" tie dye! I refer to it as having belonged to my great grandmother. Then I open it, and I remark: "GAWDY thing! --I mean the parasol, not grandma! The teachers 'get it' but it's over the little one's heads. The "MP" gets one of the biggest laughs in the program. (Show stop laugh!) I refused to do it for years. The "Victorian" premise was so awful! Wben I finally worked out lines that fit me (I got the premise from old friend, DON LAWTON)it played great from the firt show. So, don't worry about the handle! --It's the old Al Baker "proverb": "Don't run if you aren't being chased!"
