Two weeks ago my dear, sweet wife went to the plant sale at the Fullerton Arboretum whilst I was teaching a Level I CFA class.
She came home with: two habaneros (one red, one orange) one serrano two bhut jolokias (ghost chilies) two Trinidad scorpions (hotter than the bhut jolokias) one Trinidad Congo (I have no idea what it is, but I’d bet it’s hot) I'm going to be making some salsa in a couple of months. |

That sounds like a deadly combination of hot spices. I don't think my body could handle something that spicy. You know, I made hot wings with the other day with a recipe my brother in law and myself experimented with. We added Worcestershire sauce to the hot wing sauces along with garlic, pepper, cayenne pepper and habenero sauce and the taste was awesome. I think the Worcestershire sauce really makes a difference in adding some flavor to hot wing sauce. We also make our own home-made salsa, but I think you got us beat in the spice department when it comes to salsa and I doubt I would be able to handle the spice level of your salsa.

Sound's like a cocktail for acid-reflux to me.

S2000 (may I call you that?)
I still resent three Springs ruined having to spend all my time studying for the CFA. Worth it, but hated being stuck inside as the weather got better and better. Good for you teaching the class. Feral Chorus, CFA |

I've had the Trinidad Scorpions. They are extreme.

I haven't had the guts yet to try the ghost peppers yet, but I will get there.
I saw a you tube video of some girl eating a ghost pepper straight, just eating it like a piece of fruit. Her reaction was strong verbally, but facially, she barely responded to it. She did go for the milk fairly soon. Meanwhile, you enjoy.

Nothing to do with peppers, but with dear sweet wives. Great OP. I've been married to one woman for forty-two years and she is the sweetest thing in my life. She's smarter than me, wiser than me, more patient than me and believe me when I say I don't deserve such a woman. We've had our ups and downs as most couples do, but I don't wish to spend the rest of my life with anyone else but her. Her name is Gail and I love her dearly.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

Excellent. Never heard of Trinidad Scorpions until now. Muchas gracias.

Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |
